In 2007 I had entered a contract with 24 Hour Fitness. They told me if I paid $500 upfront for a three year deal that I would have a annual renewal of $99 and it would not change as long as I didn't miss a payment. Today 8 years later I received a letter in the mail from 24 Hour this letter it stated that my annual increase has been raised to $150 and I have one month to pay it or my membership will be cancelled. This is bs. I paid my annual membership two months early and I get a letter after I paid for next year saying I owe $50 more or I don't have a membership anymore? Is this legal? I think not… Count me in on a class action.
