Just purchased a Nikon D810 camera from 42nd street camera. I did not want a gray market camera and asked if this was a US camera and explained. Ralf said it was a English version with the 3 year warranty. Sounds good right? Well as it turns out it was imported from England (english menu) and the 3 year warranty was with a 3rd party. I did not notice this for several weeks. I was told it was too late to return it. So what I learn was that these people know what to say and what not to say to lead you down a path and let you think you are getting what you expect, no matter how many questions you ask.
