I have had a jump start twice this year for two separate cars and both times the service person from AAA said I needed a new battery. The first time I bought a new battery but then I caught on the second time around. The service person said exactly the same thing about my battery, that I had worn it down to 0 and not matter how long I drove the car it would never get back up to 500. I didn't buy the new battery but drove my car and recharged it back up to over 500 in one driving session. I haven't had any issues with the battery since. Buyer Beware… Take the jump and drive your car before buying a new battery… You probably don't need one.
