Called American Home Shield late August that the late model LG Refrigerator did not work. Twelve visits from Sears Repair later which amounts to almost three months without a refrigerator there is still no resolution about having the ability to cool refrigerated foods in my home with special needs children.

American Home Shield avoids the situation through denying that contractor has called "saying that the refrigerator is not repairable" despite actually being on a three-way phone call with AHS and Sears, with Sears stating that the refrigerator is not repairable.

AHS has still not remedied the situation but their customer service issue will soon come to an end. We have procured a lawyer to take action on the situation. AHS has extremely customer service and do not document complaint calls when a customer calls in. Document and record everything. Your entitlement will be supplemented with this information. This company is literally awful with respect to customer service. As I input this information, I have been on hold for 1 hour and 40 minutes. This has happened many times over the last three months. If buying an existing house, demand a better Home Warranty than American Home Shield. American has bad customer service.
