By what I see in the previous comments, I have the same problems. My AVG malfunctioned months ago and I had to subscribe to another anti-virus/firewall.

While a renewal date is not due yet, I have had similar problems, where a company refuses to cancel a subscription, such as an unsatisfactory ISP, and then STEALS from my bank account.

Then, the only alternative is to cancel the account, and then open a new account, with all the hassle that comes with notifying legitimate vendors of the new account access numbers.

I have not yet called AVG customer/billing. I must do so soon, and expect the brush-offs and insensitivity experienced by those who have already commented.
