I used AVG a long time ago.
Was good so I thought I'll buy protection when Email arrived that said I was about to run out of protection.
Bought the product.
Downloaded the product but it wouldn't fully install so I asked technical assistance
They suggested I pay another $20 for remote help.
Online assistance said to open control panel and disable existing McCafee programme or it wouldn't install.
4 hours later I have computer screen from Mc Cafee telling me that AVG programme has not been installed.
Are these two companies the same entity?
In the past AVG was great. Now I have wasted 2 hours trying to download and got nowhere. The suspend subscription option only applies after 1 year. It's a ripoff
