As an owner of a 2005 BMW 545i, I would suggest you stay away from even considering a BMW. They're very unreliable, especially used BMWs. Dealerships will rip you off with outrageous parts and labor ($150 per hour) prices. Reliability so bad, that you'd think they're made of low-quality parts. Two words: Stay away.
