My home mortgage was sold to CENLAR three years ago, shortly after I purchased my home. I have always been proactive and submitted all required tax/insurance documents 45 days in advance, as stated on their website. Every year CENLAR has been consistently late in paying our insurance premiums to the point of lapsing in coverage. This year, it appears they are going to be late again. It is very frustrating to deal with them. As a responsible consumer, I follow the guidelines established by CENLAR and in return I expect them to meet their obligations in a timely manner. Phone calls into their customer service leave me on hold waiting to speak to someone in excess of 30 minutes, email inquiries do not get responded to for 10 days. When they do respond to the email, their responses never address the issues. This is totally unacceptable and should not be allowed. What leverage do I have to solve this problem?
