Initially, I was disappointed because the first repair facility I was told to call told me that he did not service my home area. I was then told to call Sears. Again, at first, I was disappointed because I had to wait one week for service. The Sears man was very polite, skilled, and thorough. He diagnosed my problem and estimated the cost to repair. CHOICE rejected repair because the cost was too high. I had to buy a new machine. CHOICE offered me $300 toward a new washer. Unfortunately my washer is part of an integrated stacked unit with my dryer. So both have to be replaced at a cost of $1500.
