I just needed to enquire about availability of a certain drug (Walgreens and Rite-Aid were out); Walgreens tried to call them and they were on hold for over 30 minutes; I waited until the next am and tried the 1st time (very rude gal picked up phone and said one moment and put me on hold–27 minutes later, I hung up); I called to manager of store and he put my call through, only to have same person put me on hold again (after another 18 minutes, I hung up! ). Guess they are too busy to want new business and therefore I FOR SURE, WON'T GIVE THEM ANY–NOW OR IN THE FUTURE (and I will tell all my friends as well! ). You know, customer service is king — and you lost it!
