I stayed at the Days Inn in Darien Georgia on Nov. 7th. Lured by an add claiming that it was the "newest on I-95", it was by far the worst experience on the last ten years. Understaffed, our check-in was repeatedly interrupted by phone calls. The corridors were were carpeted in a mix of dirty carpet with a fine overlay of taped repairs. The room was "spartan"—in that it lacked an upholstered chair.
To be fair, the room was clean with a comfortable bed… But the "sandpaper towels" were in prominent display
