So I bought an Alienware Alpha with Intel core i7,2tb hard drive, and 8gb ram. It's a pretty penny of 799.99$ and I was reluctant to buy it in the first place. This was back on October 10th. For two weeks it was in pre-production and NOBODY bothered to call me or email me and tell me I needed to reorder. So when I finally called I was put on hold for 2 hours and 45 minutes. When I finally got through they told me and I reordered through the worker directly. He told me "for the inconvenience we will dock 60$ and make it free one day shipping." I thought okay that's not so bad. Until I checked the itemized list and saw they took 1tb off the Alphas hard drive.
So the inconvenience charge was really. The worker told me that the new order would be received on or before November 10th. Here it is November 14th and they have pushed back my order to November 23rd. Dell has completely me over. Next time I have the chance and the time I'll be sure to express my feelings to their manager.
