I recently tried to activate a account with Equifax for 4.95. Then I was told that I couldn't because I had a previous account that wasn't active. I spoke to a rep. And he tried to access the account over the phone and give me access. He informed me he could not finalize the account because my credit card was the problem and that I had to call my bank to find out why were they not giving me access. When I called my bank, they told me Equifax charged my card 8 times. 4 times 4.95 and 4 time 19.95 and they still didn't deliver the product. Meanwhile, they told me that my card will not be charged. So much for not being charged!
