There is an account listed on my credit report that has the age as 45 years and 10 months. If that was correct I was 3 years and 6 months old when I took out the loan! I filed a dispute and after 2 weeks was told it was resolved. I attempted to login to view the outcome and, like many others, it stated I am not who I say I am. I decided to attempt to get my free report via annualcreditreport.com hoping something was on there and it denied me yet again, stating I needed to fax in various forms of identification. This false information is causing me all kinds of headaches. Now I have complaints filed with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and with the Fair Trade Commission. I agree with the other posted that suggested a class action suit. Their disregard for accurate reporting is costing consumers unfathomable time, employment, money and other credit opportunities.
