After receiving a number of threatening e-mails and letters, I wrote to Hearst about canceling my subscription because I found a cheaper place to get my gift subscriptions. (I always use a temporary visa number from BOFA for magazine subscriptions) None of my letters were read and apparently ignored. I finally got on the internet and found a phone number. I spoke to Michael who was very friendly and efficient. He took care of the problem right away. I just wished that I had found the number earlier to prevent all the harassment.
