I made the mistake of purchasing a refrigerator from Home Depot because they offered free delivery. The delivery process was so unprofessional. The delivery personnel, outside contractors, brought in the fridge without any of its original packaging. They rushed out and didn't let us inspected the product. The product could have been damaged or altered during the shipment. I thought I was buying a fridge from Home Depot but found out the fridge was sold thru another dealer. The fridge started to malfunction a few days later. Home Depot wanted nothing to do with their defective product they sold. They passed the responsibility to the manufacturer. Home Depot's customer service lines were automated and when you did reach a human, they transferred us to the automated line. None of their customer service representatives took accountability and referred the problem to a another department. Never again, will I spend even a penny at HD.
