Was in contact with Hotwire before the trip and found out that the hotel was double booked for October 26,2015. Also found out that American Airline also was almost doubled book. It was explained to me that because the return flight was a hour early, that it wasn't double booked. I had two flights to Miami and only me and my wife, were on one flight. American Airline asked me to get issue straight with Hotwire, and that's where the problem started. So I out of Fare for two to Miami and two back to Washington DC. Also paid extra for seating. Prefer the window seat. On boarding no such animal – instead of 7A and 7B I was seated in 7E and 7D. This will all leave a bad taste in anyone's mouth. This whole Birthday surprise was just that. If you travel on Hotwire beware.
