I was pouring a bowl of Kellogg's Corn Flakes and I noticed something in my bowl. At first I thought it was a burnt flake but it was a little wood shaving. I thought maybe it came from my own home but there's no probable source in my home. I'm not too upset. I would rather eat wood shavings than bugs or larvae or tarry substances or little pieces of pink glass (I have been reading other reviews to find one similar to my experience). I am now very uneasy about what our foods contain these days. I understand mistakes happen, but I'm still trying to figure out how that wood shaving found its way into a food processing/packaging factory.
