I was given a new LG GPAD (V930BB) tablet by a friend who uses Apple products and didn't want an Android device. I've been trying to set up the device, but it continued to ask for the gmail account of the original owner. The original owner's email information did not work either. I called the LG Service Center, who said this was a new Google security feature and the only way it can be removed was to send back to LG. At LG's recommendation, I sent the tablet to them to "repair" after paying for the packaging (LG paid for the shipping). I received the device back in the mail, and tried to activate, but am still running into the same issue. LD's recommendation is to again send it back to them; LG insists this is the only way to fix the issue. I'M DONE!!! Horrible customer service.
