If you file a warranty claim and complain about the flooring, and customer service states, "It's always the installation, never the floors, " is that really accurate or are they just passing the blame? I live in the South and it's humid, but how is it possible to have an installed floating bamboo floor that's 9 month old continue to expand? Like my installer said, "You have a living floor." When a curtain was drawn and the floor was exposed to some warm sunshine for several hours it buckled. Does having heavy furniture impede the expansion? When the temperature outside is moderate and the AC/heat doesn't run, does that throw off the required perfect balance of temperature/humidity necessary for the floors? All I can say is buyer beware.
