As a student I felt discriminated against when a McDonald's employee said to a middle-aged man "you don't have to wait in line behind these kids" and proceeded to take him to the front of the line. It doesn't matter if I am wearing a school uniform or not, I am a paying customer who should be treated equally. I am extremely offended and will go elsewhere to spend my lunch periods. McDonald's can improve this ageism issue by telling their employees to treat all their customers with the same respect.
