We are purchasing a home through a short sale. Ocwen is the short sale bank we are dealing with. They have the final approval on the sale of the house. They approved the short sale 4 months ago. We went and got our mortgage and Ocwen pushed us to a quick close date. Well the close date came and they decided they wanted more paperwork after we were assured they had all they needed. We are now waiting on them to complete the review process. We can't speak to anyone on the US… Their call center in India is not helping and we keep being told "sometime next week". This has been going on for several weeks and we need to close on this house asap. We are running out of time and they are not working with us or helping us at all… I feel totally stuck. This place is terrible and they should not be allowed to treat people this way.
