RCI has only four units at this resort, we requested two units with an ocean view. Our friends arrived before us and were given one of the ocean view units. We arrived later in the day and we're told that the only unit left was a pool view unit. My husband was livid to say the least. After a long attempt to get them to give us an ocean view, we agreed to look at the pool view unit… It was disgusting, very old and dark. And you could hardly see the pool plus it was right next to the reception area. The bathroom was old and in desperate need of a renovation. I would not let my dog bathe in it.
Anyway our friends invited us to stay with them as both units were two bedrooms. Although the view was great… The unit was very tired looking, bare essentials and not well cleaned. Our bathroom had mold on the tiles and the shower was so clogged hardly any water came out. (We did end up complaining and they sent a guy to change the shower head and taps) The soap dispenser was disgusting, very dirty.
I would not recommend RCI resorts to anyone. Most of them are two stars. If that, check the resort out before you go on trip advisor. I did read that this resort does put RCI guests in the worst units. I think all the executives officers of this company should be made to stay in these resorts, maybe then things would change.
