Several xs for years we have had problems with cable working. A lot of channels don't come in. Well they always say it's the dvr. They replace it always with a refurbished (never new) one that doesn't work either after 6 months normally. This time they set up a tech to come out. I got a call to remind me of appointment and they didn't have the right day or time also I was told I would have to pay 45.00 at time of appointment. When I called to ask what that was about. The customer service girl said, "After the tech determines it's no fault of mine why interruption it will be waived." This is their way of getting back the credit they applied to my bill for no service when I initially contacted them for help the last time.
