I used this product for about a year and a half. I'm not sure exactly when my hair started falling out because it seemed to happen somewhat gradually. I kept trying to come up with reasons this could be happening but none of it made sense. I will be turning 40 next year and thought that maybe my hair loss was due to aging and hormonal changes, or it could have been from wearing a ball cap, or from wearing my hair pulled back, or because I dried my hair everyday. I've been doing these things all my life and have never had any issues.
I mentioned my issue of going bald to my sister the other day and she told me about the Wen lawsuits. After reading about other people's experiences it became obvious that Wen is DEFINITELY to blame.in addition to losing my hair, the texture has completely changed becoming wiry and brittle. It really pisses me off that because of their products my hair (or lack thereof) may never be the same. I've become very self conscience of it and no longer wear my hair pulled back because it makes it more noticeable. I have always been complimented on how pretty and thick my hair was… Not so much these days.
