However Senior customers were stopped at the airport gate by Westjet representative and were requested to checked in the carryon luggage even though the carryon luggage were in the allowable size.
However the second counter checked in representative made the fatal mistake of print out the same ticket numbers 494508 and 494509 for the third and fourth checked in luggage. Therefore, when the senior customers arrived at the Vancouver ariport for connecting flight. The connecting flight airline only identify the first two checkedin luggage and missing the third and fourth luggage.
In addition, Westjet airline pushed the responsibility to the senior customers to contact the final destination airline company to file a baggage claim and did not provide any solutions or action even though the custmers contacted the westjet directly from the Vancouver airport.
